Jesus gives us a list of sins in Galations chapter 5, and other places in the Bible. But do you know what they all mean? Lasciviousness, Variance, Emulations, Uncleanness, Revellings, and Concupiscence are just a few. And then there's Circumcised and Uncircumcised. Yes, that is something a baby boy has done, but did you know that to be "Circumcised" means to be "In the Spirit" and therefore being "Uncircumcised" would mean to "Not be in the Spirit".
But let us look at words like Concupiscence. It took me 2 days to learn how to pronounce that, and my southern accent still shines thu, lol. That big word means Lust.
And Lasciviousness also means Lust.
Variance means basically to flip-flop back & forth walking with the Lord following His word, and not staying in word. Not being stable minded about your relationship with the Lord.
Uncleanness does not mean that your house is dirty. It means to be Morally Impure.
Emulations is having a desire to be like someone else rather than your own self. You are who God made you, you are not to try to be like someone else.
Revellings A good way to describe this would be enjoying something, like a hobby, or tv, so much that it takes up so much of your time that you do not make time for God.
